Presentation-Sacred Heart Parish is pleased to announce that Rev. Fr. Thomas A. DeSimone, parochial vicar at St. Mary-St. Andrew Church, Ellenville, New York, will provide a Lenten Evening of Recollection at Sacred Heart Church, 1055 Broadway, Esopus, New York on Tuesday, March 29th at 6:30 p.m.The evening's program is as follows:
6:30 p.m. Conference "Psalm 51 and living the Divine Mercy" with a brief opportunity for questions and answers afterwards,
followed by a Holy Hour with Solemn Exposition, Adoration, and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. Confessions will be available with Fr. DeSimone during the Holy Hour.
Although there is no charge for admission, free will offerings will be accepted most gratefully. All people of good will are invited most cordially to enhance their 40 days of Lent with quiet time before the Eucharistic Jesus and the prayerful insights of Fr. DeSimone.
"During his almost 16 years in the sacred priesthood, Fr. DeSimone has developed insight from his varied experiences, including as Spiritual Director and Director of Clergy Formation for the Theology of the Body Institute, as well as from his spiritual direction of people over the years," explained Fr. Arthur F. Rojas, administrator of Presentation-Sacred Heart Parish. Fr. DeSimone is a classmate of Fr. Rojas (Class of 2006, Archdiocese of New York).
