First Patronal Feast Celebration at Sacred Heart in Years

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us!

Tonight, parishioners from both Sacred Heart and Presentation Churches gathered to join their hearts to the Sacred Heart of Jesus present in the Blessed Sacrament at a Holy Hour held at Sacred Heart in honor of the patronal feast of our church at Esopus.  In light of the epochal news from the United States Supreme Court on the end of abortion-on-demand as an invented and imposed "right" out of the U.S. Constitution, the people present cheerfully gathered also out of thanksgiving for the Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization ruling announced today.

We are grateful to the Martha and Mary Ladies for the lovely decoration at the sanctuary and the tasty treats for the Fellowship Hour.
